Roadmap

Building on the AI Coding Assistant introduced earlier, we will deliver smarter, faster, and more reliable code generation. Expect enhanced context understanding, better integration with MCP-enabled editors, and improved support for complex UI scenarios – helping you accelerate development with less manual effort. 

 

We will be redesigning the Chat component with extended capabilities, including advanced message formatting and multimedia support. This update will enable richer, more engaging conversational experiences for both human-to-human and AI-driven interactions. 

 

We plan on adding smarter ways to interact with DataGrid. This will allow performing actions like sorting, filtering, and grouping through intuitive prompts and commands, making data manipulation faster and more natural than ever before. 

 

We will continue refining existing components based on your feedback, focusing on the most requested features and usability improvements. Expect enhancements across controls like Spreadsheet, GridView, RichTextBox, and more – ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience throughout the suite. 

Beginning with the Q2 2026 releases, we will discontinue support for several legacy themes for newly introduced WPF controls, including Expression Dark, Windows 7, Transparent, Vista, Summer, Office Silver, and Office Blue. This change enables us to concentrate on delivering modern, refined UI experiences that align with today’s design standards. Support for existing controls that rely on these themes will remain unchanged, ensuring smooth continuity for current applications.
